Embark on an extraordinary journey to discover the enchanting cedar tree forests and beautiful lakes of the Middle Atlas through an amazing trekking experience.
Departure from Casablanca, Rabat, or Fez. Visit Ifrane, a mountain village known as Little Switzerland. Traditional Berber lunch. Trek around Azrou (3 hours walking or more if you started from Fez). Arrival at the guesthouse in Azrou around 6 pm. Dinner and night at the guesthouse.
7:30 am: Breakfast at the guesthouse. 8:00 am: Your guide will take you for a trek through the cedar tree forest. Explore the lush green nature of this part of Morocco, encountering monkeys, and if lucky, a chance to see a deer. Visit the Abbey of Tioumliline. 12:00 pm: Your driver will take you from the abbey to Lake Ouiouane (1-hour drive) for a traditional Berber lunch with a lake view. 02:30 pm: The trek continues from Lake Ouiouane to Oyoun Oum Rabi, Morocco’s biggest river’s source. 05:00 pm: Moroccan mint tea break at Oyoun Oum Rabi with free time to enjoy this wonderful place. 06:00 pm: Your driver will take you to your guesthouse in Azrou. Dinner and night at the guesthouse.
07:30 am: Breakfast. 08:00 am: Departure for Ifrane National Park and trek in the pine trees forest until Aïn Vittel, stunning waterfalls in the middle of the forest. 12:00 pm: Lunch and departure to Fez, Rabat, and Casablanca.
